Wilsonville outpaces the state in terms of educational attainment. In 2010, 25.9% of Wilsonville’s residents over the age of 25, held a bachelor’s degree with 12.8% having graduate degrees.  In comparison, in 2010, the Portland metropolitan area ranked as the 11th smartest city in the U.S., with 22% of those over the age 25 having bachelor's degrees and 12% having graduate degrees.
